This recreational facility specializes in camping experiences for Pre-school through Sixth grade. The swimming pool has a very high bather load on a daily basis.

Before

Sandblasted

This commercial swimming pool is constructed of aluminum panels seam welded together. The swimming pool was painted, typically every 2-3 yrs.

The pool was sandblasted to remove the many coats of paint that had been applied during the course of the life of the pool.

Mechanical Bond

Application

The surface was then inspected for appropriate anchor profile to ensure proper adhesion to the substrate. The required texture is that of an 80 grit sandpaper.

AquaBright™ is a Thermal Plastic Coating that is applied pneumatically. Compressed air and propane are the only requirements to operate the Thermal spray equipment. AquaBright is installed with a 2-3 man crew. This pool took approximately 2 days to complete the application.

Commercial pools require “No Diving” and Depth markers to meet codes and regulations. Decals were attached with a special-grade plastic, designed to adhere to the AquaBright finish.

The finishes are easily applied with our proven installation methods and the end result is a smooth and durable astoundingly beautiful finish, that will last for many years to come.
